Ah, Monday morning! The start of the day that so many people dread. Luckily I wake up after a good night’s sleep feeling refreshed and ready for my first run of the week.
It’s only a short one from home, but still my longest so far. 2.7km in a time of 16:42. The lungs felt fine afterwards but the legs knew they had done some work.
So not much to talk about, but it’s a start on, hopefully, a long and successful journey. Success, in this instance, is not being defined as it could be one of many things :- improved health, fast times, good times with running mates or just the fun along the way of this journey.
