We are a small sound company whose main aim is to provide music and commentary to sporting events, especially endurance events. (We also do 21st’s, weddings and private parties.)
We realise that the interplay of the announcer and music is crucial in setting the correct tone and atmosphere at any event, and have been concentrating on these core concepts. To this end we offer both a commentator and DJ for most events and have found this combination works extremely well.
We offer a medium size PA system for hire along with the services of Francois Ashton and our sound engineers and dj’s . Francois is a well established commentator and announcer, and can also fill in as DJ for various events. Our sound engineers are chosen from a number of freelance sound engineers and dj’s thereby allowing us to ensure the best for you event.
Francois has been involved with many of the bigger endurance events around the country, some of these include, The ABSA Cape Epic, The Specsavers IronMan, the Durban Grand Prix, The MTN Amashova National Classic, The MTN Asishove, The Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Giro del Capo and The Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Cycle Tour. And looking back over the years he was involved with radio and TV commentary of many running events in Kwazulu Natal including the Comrades Marathon, various Track and Field events at King’s Park Athletics Stadium as well as numerous road races.
He is well acquainted with all aspects of event management and as such works well with all event organisers to assist with the smooth running of the event.
We can also be found assisting Great Time in the timing of various races around the country.
